  Project 1: Precedent Study (Group & Individual) - Villa Savoye

       Through this assignment, I am able to understand on the principle, ideas as well as the contributing factors of the architecture of Modern Masters such as Frank Lloyd Wright, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Le Corbusier and Walter Gropius. Moreover, by going through this project, I am able to acquire the ability to analyse as well as identify specific architectural features in terms of space planning, technology, details, form and the aesthetics of the architecture of Modern Masters. In this assignment, we are require to insert our understanding on one of the modern architecture, "Villa Savoye" into an A2 presentation board, essays as well as a short verbal presentation. Hence, by going through this project, we are able to comprehend more knowledge about this magnificent modern architecture. 

  Project 2: Web Book (Group & Individual) - Federal Hotel.

       Through this assignment, I am able to understand deeper into the principle, ideas and contributing factors of Modern Architecture in Klang Valley, Federal Hotel. By visiting the Federal Hotel, we are given an opportunity to analyse and identify the specific architectural features of Modern Architecture in Federal Hotel as well as able to document the precious architectural heritage in the form of writings, desciptive diagrams and photography. With this infomation, we were assigned to create a web book as a mean to publish academic materials. In the web book, there are analysis of three main components which are architectural style, building construction and materials as well as architectural elements present in Federal Hotel

In this assignment, we are assigned to analyse the massing, component, facade, materials, structure, construction and spatial organization of Villa Savoye. Villa Savoye was built by a Swiss architect, named Charles-Edouard Jeanneret or more known as Le Corbusier between 1928 and 1929 in Poissy, a small country outside of Paris, France. It is locared in the midst of an open land surrounded by trees. It is functioned as a country house. One of its specialty is the interesting from of cube as it is separated from ground level and was once alled "house in the air".
