In this project, in a group of 5, we are assigned to design a bridge with fettuccine as the material. Before we starts to design the fettuccine bridge, we conducted a few precedent studies on truss bridge all around the world. By doing this, we have further understand the basic tension and compressive strength of construction materials. By working on this project, we gradually understand the force distribution in a truss. As a result, we are required to design a perfect truss bridge which has high level of aesthetic value as well as minimal construction materials in order to achieving maximum efficiency of the bridge.

PROJECT 2: EXTENSION OF A R.C. BUNGALOW
In this project, we are assigned to search for a 2-storey bungalow which has all the technical drawings such as floor plans, elevations and sections. From there, we are asked to implement an extension on the bungalow sideways which the area has no more than 30% of the exisiting floor plan. After that, we are required to use appropriate structural members such as columns, beams, slabs and trusses to support our extension. A complete documentation on structural system of the extension is then produced. Calculations and analysis on 6 beams and 3 columns are made on the structural members of the extension.
